Every Way To Get Free Food On (And Around) Your Birthday
As y'all can probably tell by now, I'm obsessed with food and even more obsessed with free stuff. That is the sole reason why my birthday is my favorite time of year. I'm not big into huge celebrations for my birthday, but I LOVE me some free food. This year, I checked out every rewards program and local place in Lexington to max how much free food I could get. After some intense research, I'm here to show you how to have the best & cheapest foodie birthday you can have.😍

REWARDS PROGRAMS
A&W Restaurants: Sign up for their email rewards program and get a free rootbeer float on your birthday that's good for a month after your special day (plus an email reminder on their Free Rootbeer Float Day - Score!).
Auntie Anne's: Download and sign up on the app and get a free pretzel reward loaded onto your account that's good through your entire birthday month.
Baskin Robbins: Sign up for their rewards program and they'll send you an email coupon for a free scoop that's good until a week after your birthday.
BD's Mongolian Grill: Sign up for the rewards program and you get a BOGO entree coupon on your birthday. I don't think this is crazy, but they do give you a free dessert when you first sign up and that was very worth it.
Bruster's Ice Cream: Sign up for their email club and get a $3 reward on your birthday that's good for your entire birthday month. I'm not sure what this gets you as I haven't used mine yet, but I'll let y'all know when I do.
Buffalo Wild Wings: Download and sign up on their app to get a free snack wing loaded to your rewards that's good through your entire birthday month. This rewards program is awesome and I'm consistently getting free food from the points. 10/10 recommend getting this one ASAP.
Culvers: Join their email rewards and get a free sundae email on your birthday that's good for up to two weeks after.
Dippin' Dots: First off, DID Y'ALL KNOW WE HAVE A DIPPIN' DOTS STAND IN OUR MALL?! This was my greatest discovery of 2018 TBH. It's inside the candy store and It. Is. Magical. So my first recommendation is GET THERE ASAP. My second is sign up for their email club because they send you a print off coupon for a free cup good for your entire birthday month (and they send you constant deals on bulk bags of Dippin' Dots, which is not something I knew I needed until I signed up for this).
Dunkin' Doughnuts: Sign up for their email rewards and get a free drink for your birthday! And this one's even a medium drink not a small, so they're really treating your for your birthday.
Firehouse Subs: Sign up for their email rewards and get a coupon for a free medium sub that's good for a week after your birthday.
First Watch: Sign up for their email rewards program and get a coupon for a free entree in your email that's good for a 2 weeks after your birthday. They also send you a BOGO entree for just signing up, which y'all know I cashed in on immediately.
Gigi's Cupcakes: Sign up for their rewards program and get a free cupcake reward added to your account, good for your entire birthday month. You also get a free cupcake just for signing up for the program, so this one is really double the free.
Godiva: Sign up for their email club and get a $10 coupon on your birthday good for the month, in addition to a free chocolate piece one a month from signup on!
Graeter's Ice Cream: Sign up for their rewards program and get a free birthday sundae reward on your account, good for a week after your birthday. They just released a new app for their rewards, so you can download their app and sign up through there (and get a free scoop when you download).
Great American Cookie: Sign up for their email club and get a print out coupon for a free cookie slice with a soda purchase. This one's not completely free, but I love cookies enough to accept it.
Grimaldi's: Sign up for their email rewards program and get a coupon for a free 16" 1-topping that's good for a week after your birthday. This freebie is LEGIT, that's a bigger pizza that I order on a normal day.
Jamba Juice: Sign up for their rewards program and get an email coupon for a free smoothie on your birthday that lasts for your entire birthday month.
Krispy Kreme: Download their app and sign up for their rewards program to get a free doughnut and coffee good for your whole birthday month. (They also send you tons of free doughnuts throughout the year, highly recommend signing up for this one).
Melting Pot: Sign up for their email club and they'll send you an email coupon for a free chocolate covered strawberry dessert good until up to the end of the month after your birthday.
Moe's Burritos: Download and sign up on their app and get a free burrito reward uploaded that'd good for a week after your birthday. They also send deals and reminders for Free Burrito Day. This is a rewards app I end up using pretty often.
Nothing Bundt Cakes: Sign up for their rewards program and get a reward added to your account that's good for a free bundtlet up to a week after your birthday.
Olive Garden: Sign up for their email rewards program and they'll send you a free dessert coupon that's good for two weeks after your birthday (They also give you a free app when you sign up - Woo!).
Panera: Sign up for their rewards program with your phone number and get a free birthday pastry reward loaded to your account on your birthday, good up until a week after.
Papa Johns: Download and sign up on the app to get enough points for a free birthday cookie loaded to your account on your birthday. (They also send you tons of deals throughout the year so this rewards program is definitely a must have).
Qdoba: Download and sign up on their app to get a free cookie loaded to your rewards account on your birthday that's good for your entire birthday month.
Red Robin: Sign up for their email rewards program and get a free burger loaded to your rewards account that's good for your entire birthday month.
Ruby Tuesday's: Sign up for their email rewards program and get a coupon for a free burger that's good for your whole birthday month (and a free app when you join the program).
Schlotsky's: Download and join their app to get a free small sandwich uploaded to your rewards, good for a week after your birthday.
Steak & Shake: Sign up for their email rewards program and get a free milkshake via email that's good for a week after your birthday.
The Weekly Juicery: Sign up for their email newsletter and get a coupon for a free Smoothie on your birthday. (Must add that this is according to the staff. This reward is the only reward on this list that I cannot personally confirm myself).
World of Beer: Sign up for the rewards program and you get a free app! Good for a week before and a week after your special day.
LOCAL RESTAURANTS
Bella Note: Sign up for the rewards program and get $10 off your meal good during your birthday month.
BHG Restaurants (Malone's, Harry's, OBC, Drake's): Visit any restaurant that's owned by BHG on your birthday and let them know to get a free dessert.
Bourbon & Toulouse: Stop in and let the owner know it's your birthday and he'll buy your meal! (I have to add that this guy was SO nice when I came in to ask about birthday deals. I will definitely be returning solely to support a place owned by such a genuinely nice human.)
Burger Fi: Head into any local Burger Fi on your birthday and pick up a free milkshake on the house.
Carmanda's: Sign up for their text rewards program in store and get 10% any 8" birthday cookie for your birthday every year.
El Charro: Free dessert in a churro cart
Human Bean: Free birthday drink during the month of your birthday with download of their app
North Lime Doughnuts: Swing by a North Lime on your birthday and get a free doughnut to celebrate your special day.
Saul Good: Have a meal at a local Saul Good on your birthday and the server will take your ID and give you the age you're turning % off your meal.
Spotz Gelato: Free topping on any gelato order at Spotz on your birthday.
EXTRAS: CLOTHING, MAKEUP, ETC.
Bare Minerals: Sign up for their email club and get a free gift every year for your birthday! This year was a matte liquid lipstick.
DSW: Sign up for their rewards to get a free $5 off on your birthday! They send you a ton of coupons throughout the year as well though so if you like shoes then this rewards is definitely a good idea.
Loccitane: Sign up for this email list and you get a free gift with a purchase for your birthday. This past year they also started including %15 off, and a mini facial for your birthday as well!
Sephora: Join Beauty Insiders and get a choice of a free gift from a couple different options every year. They also offer tons of great prizes with rewards points so if you're a beauty junkie then I definitely recommend signing up for this one.
SkinCeuticals: Sign up for this email program and get a free gift with a purchase for your special day.
Tarte Cosmetics: Sign up for their email rewards program and get a free gift coupon in your email for your birthday!
Ulta: Sign up for Ulta's program and get a free gift plus x2 points for the month of your birthday. They also send you coupons pretty often and you get Ulta money back for your points. I LIVE for this rewards program.
