My Favorite Matcha Recipes - Ranked
I recently was #gifted a few products from Zulay Kitchen, and one of them was MATCHA! I'd never tried matcha before, but had actually just listened to a podcast about how great it was (Thanks SYSK) and had really been wanting to check it out. Enter Zulay's Culinary Grade Matcha! While I received a few products (and have a review post coming soon don't worry), of course this was the one I immediately cracked open to try. You can obviously drink Matcha just as green tea itself, and it's GREAT that way (My favorite is iced with a little agave syrup), there are SO many ways you can incorporate it into your diet. While there are too many to try each and every one, I checked out some of the best looking ones for you! I have to admit, I'm really on a matcha kick now and honestly loved every single recipe. BUT some were definitely better than others, so here they all are ranked! So order some Zulay matcha and get cooking!!
#1: MATCHA WHITE CHOCOLATE COVERED FRUIT
This combo is INCREDIBLE, and the recipe is so easy. All you need is fruit, white chocolate, matcha, and a little coconut oil! It took less than 10 minutes and the green tea + white chocolate combo is good on its own, but with fruit it was just that much better.

#2: MATCHA WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
White chocolate chip cookies are my absolute FAV and the matcha addition only upped the game. These had a few more ingredients than the last recipe, but still a super quick and easy make. I also love that this recipe is reasonably sized. I make my cookies a little larger, but it only made 12 cookies for me! Since I live alone, it was great to not have 3 dozen cookies lying around all week lol!

So I used Ale-8 instead of just normal soda water here and LOVED the combo of the ginger and the matcha. This had great flavor and I will definitely be drinking this for a long while to come. I also appreciated that the recipe makes enough syrup for more than one drink. I popped it in the fridge and used it later in the evening for another!
Recipe Source: Oh How Civilized
This recipe tasted good, but I think the fact that every one used egg whites freaked me out a little. Drinking raw egg is not my thing, so I definitely plan to try this one again but using chickpea subbed for egg whites. Also yes, I know these peaks are not great lol. I hand mixed this and had to give up before I got perfect peaks.
